The fabric is rated UltraViolet Protection Factor (UPF) 50+, the highest-possible rating, for Excellent sun protection, blocking over 98% of harmful UVA/UVB radiation from the sun. A small elastic "Loop It Or Lose It!" centered waist loop can be tied to boardshorts or other bottoms for a more secure fit. The arm and waist openings lined with stretch fabric binding for comfort. A 2" high collar adds even more sun protection.
